Louisiana Politician Offers Chicken Wings, Limo Ride For Black Votes

A joke gone wrong or a blatant display of racism, either way Shreveport, Louisiana mayoral candidate Bryan Wooley has enraged many residents after he allegedly posted flyers in a black neighborhood offering chicken and limo rides to poll sites.

The controversy initiated with a "Freedom Rally" event reportedly sponsored by mayoral candidate Bryan Wooley.

The event, that was said to have happened Wednesday and Thursday, was advertised to feature free chicken and limo rides to early voting polls to residents of Shreveport's Cooper Road area.

Cooper Road is a predominantly black neighborhood also known as the Martin Luther King neighborhood.

Needless to say, the flyers – which were also posted on Facebook – were seen as a smack in the face to many of Shreveport's black residents. http://www.whatsmokingtv.com/
